Home Articles Halstead International Culture Solstice Turns 30 | Halstead Intl. Annual Meeting Recap Near the end of June, Halstead employees celebrated their 30th year of Solstice together. Team members from came from all over the world including Europe and Australia to Norwalk, CT to gather together with their colleagues. The year’s wins and challenges were shared as well as new, innovative ideas to enrich the experience that end users and distribution channel partners have with the company’s many products, including Allure. Watch the video below to hear what a handful of Halstead team had to say about Solstice and the work they do with the company. In the true spirit of why Solstice was started, we were also provided with series of how we as a company have given back through charitable causes this year. Some of the highlights were the charitable contribution committee’s year-long fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis, Aunt Leah’s place in Canada, and the YMCA in Georgia. We all know well that Solstice isn’t all work and no play. This year there was dinner on the patio at Dolce. The annual tradition of a BBQ hosted at Harlan and Sabina Stone’s home, and a fun “walkabout” (or pub crawl some might say) that Dorothy Speidell organized for the group starting at Sign of the Whale restaurant in Stamford, CT. All in all, our company’s outstanding teamwork was applauded as we came together to enjoy another successful year and look forward to what’s to come for the rest of 2016!
